I agree it is so nice to be able to talk to my sailor, makes it a lot easier to get through the days.  I am glad to hear everyone had a great weekend and I too enjoyed meeting the few of you that I did at the meet and greet. I wish you and your Sailors all the best and hope they all succeed on their next journey, which I am sure they will.

Glad to hear you all got home safely! We had a wonderful weekend meeting many of you, your sons, and other families not on this site (they don't know what they're missing!). The graduation was awesome.

I agree, it's such a relief to know we can now speak with our boys whenever we want. It was a short visit--we had to leave right after lunch on Sunday--but it was great to see our son so happy with his choice, and so proud of his fellow sailors. They are an amazing group of young men. We can all be proud.

Got back late last night, 1:00 AM, drove and it rained-hard-from Chicago all the way to Ga.! Bad stroms, but we made it. Enjoyed meeting many of you, and just so wonderful seeing my new sailor son! Sunday was our best day: went to mass, ate breakfast, talked a lot, all of us took a nap (great to watch my son sleeping, and snoring!), went to dinner, then said good-bye. Now he's off to the next part of his journey!

Hey Dear Navy Moms~  It was a great weekend, but WAY TO SHORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I loved meeting those of you that I got to meet and I'm just so proud of all our boys!  They are incredible!  Proudmama, mine lost weight too, but did NOT want to.  I'm so happy for them all to be in the next phase.  Will be in touch!  God bless you guys!

Hi everybody!! I'm finally home. Such a beautiful weekend. It was just a bit too short for my liking but I will take what I get!!!  It was so wonderful meeting everybody that I got a chance to meet. So nice to put a face to a name!  I am so proud of my boy as I know we all are. I think he lost some weight though. I guess thats to be expected. Did your Sailor's lose weight too??

I was telling my husband that I think my life can be a little less neurotic now, I don't need to be waiting by the phone or stalking the mailman anymore.  ha ha. I can get back to some normal kind of lifestyle and know that I can talk to my Sailor whenever I want!!! YEAH!!!

Off to bed I go. Have a wonderful night everybody.

So good to see my son and meet all of ya'll that I was able to. I changed our group name a little so we can keep in touch on here without being confused with a current div. Weekend was too short and i felt like we should be bringing our son home. You kno, like he went off to camp or something and we went to get him. It is so nice to b able to communicate with him now. I was just texting with him! :-)

My husband has to leave this morning so we only got yesterday with him =(

It was so sad to say goodbye to him but it was so amazing to see him. PIR was amazing and it was really cool to watch. We went out to dinner and relaxed at the hotel and he got to visit with his son.Hopefully we will get a place set up soon so me and carter can go live with him!

I hope everyone has a great weekend with their Sailor!
