Ladies, I don't know what it is about today, perhaps that I got a letter, but I am feeling so good tonight and so excited and I certainly cannot wait to meet all of you lovely ladies!! Have a great night and see you soon!!!

Texasailormom, he hasn't answered that yet. I would think they are though. Like you said, maybe if they know the time they have liberty until then they know if they are.  That stinks though if we don't get them until around 5 or 5:30.  I think I read somewhere that if they are they stay there for about 5 hours getting situated. so hopefully, it will be earlier. I think someone mentioned that the ceremony ends around 10:30 a.m.

ProudMomma- did he say if they are grad n go? Mine hasn't said so I was guessing they didn't know yet, but I would think if they know what time they have liberty til they should know if they are grad n go. I guess the main difference for us would b if they have to spend Fri afternoon packin up and moving then we can't pick them up til 5 or 5:30.

In regards to leave your recruit will be told if he has overnight liberty or not, some will have it and some will not.  What applies to one group does not always apply to the other groups.

Ann - as far as the announcement in the paper I would just have them announce his graduation from BC but not what area he is pursuing. Just the basics is all that should be discussed.

We got mail! It sounds like 806 IS THE BEST... but we already knew that! ;-)

From my  understanding, we will be sitting directly in front of their division. They will have recruits there to escort us to our section so we should be able to see them, hopefully right directly in front of them. That's what I read the other day.  I hope it's true!!  My son also told me today in his letter that he will have liberty until 9 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday!!

Good question Eod.... I have another thought or question... I was reading on the RTC facebook page and there still appears to be a chance that the guys checking into A school will be given overnight leave....???? the RTC admin guy on the fb page said in answer to this question that they will not know what their leave is until they check into A school after PIR.

Got another letter today and my son asked how we are going to meet up with him after PIR.  Do we let them know to look for the burgandy scarf and should we all sit close together at the ceremony?
