For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

ok just wondering cuz I hear talk of "A" schools and Pre-BUDS but not what the other Spec Ops do> Iknow several of us on here have SR's going to Pre-BUDS but i wasn't sure if they all were.

Just for my own curiosity, do the SR's with other Spec Ops contracts other then SEALs got to pre-BUDS or somewhere else after PIR.

No news on BS but i did ask in my letters I've sent since our phone call on the 1st so hopefully he'll answer this week.

I have only heard that they can write more, he said that they should be able to write almost daily or every other day... no news on battle stations from mine. Hopefully someone else knows. :)

The scarf i got is a lightweight one but long enough to just wear hanging around my neck and down on both sides. Does that make sense? here's the link to the one i ordered. Any style you want I think will be great!

Finally got a letter today!! YAY!!! He sounds soooo much better, whew! Sounds like they get to start writing and sending letters daily now, so the letters should start flowing a little more frequently. Hope everyone is having a nice Saturday.

Got our reservations. Ramada. I have injured my shoulder can cannot do the yardwork and gardening that I so love to do this time of year. It is makeing the days go by v e r y s l o w l y. About the scarves: are they to be like the guys? Worn that way? I sew and I'm going Monday to get some fabric.

Yes, the FB page is great. Love lookin through the pics. I'll take that hour closer! Now that we passed the first couple of weeks with the box,form letter, first call, and first letter, time seems to hav slowed down now. Hoefully runnin around with my younger kids for Spring Break will make thiweek go faster.
Skyler I was thinking...if u send me the names i'll get my kids and their friends busy over SB so the guys get a big mail day b4 battlestations. I'll send u my email if you can scan in the whole list that would b great!
