I got a letter today!!  He sounds good and said things are starting to get alittle easier for them.

Just checked on the shirts. As I am a "generously sized" Ga. peach, I'll have to pass on these, esp. since the black ones run two sizes smaller than reg. Ts. But they look really nice! I'd get some if my size was available. Darn!

Thanks for the vidio, Skyler. It was a dreary, cloudy, cold day here in Ga., but there was "son " shine in the mailbox! He dated the letter March 7 and it arrived today. That's fast, I think. Got a letter! Says they're doing great; more challenging swim PT. Gave me a name of someone he's befriended who gets no mail at all, but I'll take care of that, by golly!! Will check the T-shirts out.

I just ordered some shirts with our division. I'm so excited. If you would like the link, here it is. I found it on Facebook. The shirts will have our division flag and division number. She said I should get them by between the 25th and the 28th. Here is the link if anyone would like to order them. I just called them. the number is on the order form.

No letter here either... glad to hear that I am not the only one... hoping to get one in the next couple of days- please??? :)  Luckily for me, today is mostly sunny, with a few hit and miss showers.  Have a great day everyone!  22 days and counting!

I didn't get a letter today...:(   I was certainly hoping for one.  Skylar glad you got one!!  I wonder why two names were dropped from the list?? Well, hopefully I will get one by the weekend. Ugghh..the gas chamber. My oldest when he went to Officers Traiining School with the Army went through that. He gave my son some tips on it, but basically says it's pretty tough but he can definitely get through it.  Well everybody, it's a rainy dreary day here in New York, I hope you're having better weather than we are! Enjoy the rest of your day!!

I've watched several vidios of PIRs. Sometimes the sailors wear dark uniforms and sometimes white. What determines the color? Also, somewhere on N4Ms I saw a really good vidio (or slide show....can't remember) of the whole RTC basic training cycle, from arriving at the base on the bus, haircuts, issuing uniforms, etc.. Recruits were shown in this vidio, and it was really informative. I'd like my husband and other sons to see it, but I can't remember what the title is or where I found it. There's a similar vidio with a female officer narrating, but no actual recruits. Not as good, I thought. Anybody know where I can find this?
