I hope they get more calls, I know when my nephew was in boot camp in October that he got to call home a few times after their initial calll. I was so hoping for atleast once a week. :(

Noticed on the PIR 4-1-11 group that lots of other divisions are having a M & G at the Ramada so it will be crazy.  Should we rethink this?  Just a thought.

They only get one phone call before the "I'm a Sailor" phone call???  Ugggh....where did you hear that?? I was so hoping for a call tonight!!

Comment by TexasSailorMom on March 8, 2011 at 11:15am
Their next scheduled call is the "I'm a Sailor" call after battlestations the week before PIR. Any calls before that will be something extra their RDC gives them so we won't have any warning. Keep your phones close cuz I hear that some families have gotten calls in the morning or around 9 at night. Fingers crossed X, saying prayers, hopin they earn an extra call!

I'm hoping so. He called last Tuesday so and it was around supper time that he called last week so I'm going to get all my running around done early today and pray that I don't miss his phone call!!  Enjoy your day everybody!!
