FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I think I got a message from eodmommy to everyone in our group and I only was able to see it on my email. I didn't know why, but maybe when we send one this way it only goes to our email. So what I did (I think) was I went to our group page and there's a little choice to click on on the right that says "send message to group". I clicked on that.

Thank you for the acronym interpretation. I'm so afraid I'm missing important info. My hubbie will be glad to know he's not the only one who was concerned. Thank him for checking this out for us. I feel better.

Everyone~ are all of you ordering ribbons? I'll be back on the road again tomorrow.

Hi, everyone, glad to find you all! We're arriving in Milwaukee late Thurs. AM and are staying at the Courtyard Marriott.We'd be up for a meet & greet--thanks for looking into the details.

Not sure what time we are getting in on Thursday, that's depending on traffic and weather. We are driving and this winter has not been took kind to us this year.  We're staying at the Ramada. Maybe they will be having a Meet and Greet there.

That is so disappointing! What does TRC stand for? Am I having a senior moment? We are also staying at the Residence Inn Waukegan.

Skyler- well, that stinks! I was really hopin we would get them allll weekend. Guess I'll take what I can get!

Shall we check for space at one of our hotels, or does anyone kno about a restaurant we could meet an dgreet at?  We are getting in around noon and stayin at the Residence Inn in Waukegan.

Thank u Skyler! We are having fun... Looking forward to a good nights sleep! It's so hard to type on this phone. I feel like I'm missing out on our group conversation I cant wait to meet everyone!! I think our plane gets n about 11:00am (Milwaukee) on thurs. So let's plan our own meet n greet.
