Welcome Ann and mom2four! Ann I sent you a friend request.
I did receive messages in my inbox from Proudomma, SwimmerS, and Skyler.
Ann, did you find the SEAL group? There is also one for Pre-Buds. Here are the links
http://www.navyformoms.com/group/prebudsmomss
http://www.navyformoms.com/group/sealmoms
For the Ribbons- here is LaLaRibbons link
http://www.navyformoms.com/profile/Lala
Sailormom- I'll send you a message with the ribbon info and it has her email so mayb that would work from your own email if you can't get her a message through here.
Skyler- Ouch! hope it goes well!
4 weeks from today we arrive in Great Lakes! Can't wait!
Skyler, good luck with the extraction! For anyone that is having trouble sending messages, there are a few options.. you can update your version of firefox (this really helped me), or you can use internet explorer or google chrome. They all have their own issues, but for whatever reason sometimes, IE and Chrome work better on some sites than firefox does.
Hope everyone has a great day today and praying for a letter... come on mailman...
OK, I'm a little slow, but so glad to have this group!! I've read trough all the previous posts to catch up. We're from Canton, Ga. Saw a mention of a SEAL link? How do I get there? Like all the Moms here, I am so very proud of my son and his choice. Even after watching the PBS BUDS special, reading Lone Survivor and The Warrior Elite, my son was more determined than ever about his direction. Our whole family read these books and if you haven't, you should. So proud! We are driving and haven't made hotel reservations yet. Scarves-great idea! Extra cards for SR that don't get any-wonderful! I've included several in the letters I've sent. Did not know they must show any photos the revieve...oops! My son bought an M4 last year and had a pic. of him teaching his GF how to fire it. I sent him a copy. Hope it only earns him extra push-ups.
ProudMomma I only got the message from TexasSailorMom with her son's name. About the Ribbons if you go to my page I have LaLa Ribbon queen as a friend and if you click on her page from there you request her as a friend and she will send you all the information. I have been trying to send her a message after she sent me all the info but I haven't had any luck becuase I can't sent messages, I will try your suggestion about trying a different browser. THX.
Did anyone get my message that I sent yesterday about our SR's name? I got one message from Texassailormom so maybe everybody got it?? I just clicked up top of this page where it says send message to group and then did my message.
I would love to find out about those ribbons too.
Is anyone having problems sending messages, I am getting frustrated I have tried to send several messages and it does nothing but sit there. If anyone knows how to correct this problem could you please let me know. Thanks so much.
