Oh I know! Our recruiter said his PIR would more than likely be 5/21. and when I got the form letter in with the 5/14, it made a huge difference :) Atleast in pre-buds, they'll be able to have cell phones-laptops and such... THANK GOD!!!!

Me too, me too. I got so excited over the little note he got to write at the bottom of the form letter! I've never been so happy to check the mail in my whole life!

Jordan said he probably wouldn't get to call home for about 3 weeks when he called the first night.
Congrats on the 8 years with your husband. I've heard that once you get the first letter times goes by a little faster because of the anticipation of the next one. I hope that is true.

Welcome AnG. Shew, this is going to be a long road for me.. I've never been away from my husband in the 8 years we've been together, and this is the first. I'm so beyond ready to get some letters and atleast one phone call.. I miss him so much it hurts!!!

Hello, New mom to the sight and have my son with this group. Got the "box" today. A little harder than anticipated but didn't cry. Hope to hear from him soon. Thanks to all who have posted comments. It helps to read that your not the only one.

I know it girl. I feel exactly what you mean. I don't think it would be as bad if they could phone home at least like once a week.. That would ease my mind a little bit. It sucks that we can only see them for 3 days after this 8 weeks, and then we have to leave them for another 8 weeks for Pre-Buds. but atleast they do get to hav a cell phone and such. I'm ready for us to be able to live together again.. I miss him more than anything in this world... If I wasn't staying with my parents right now, I would probably be hospitalized- seriously.. lol.. I even had to go t the dr like 3 days after he left to get something for my nerves I was so bad.... So I know how you feel, and what it feels like to be alone, it sucks.!

My husband got to BC on 3/22. All I've gotten is the initial phone call and box of clothing. I haven't received the form letter, but his reruiter told me his PIR should be 5/21. Anyone else in on this with me? I can't wait to see and hear from him, I miss him more than words could EVER describe!
