Oh my gosh, Im getting so excited. I keep feeling like Im forgetting something. I hardly have slept. I know I have called the shuttle and Navy lodge and every thing is good there at least.

I so cant wait to see my son. Feels like its been a year since we have seen them.  I hope they get to call home today...

I know this much Chicago seems so far from east Texas.

Cant wait to meet all the moms and families and seeing our Navy young men and women.

Everyone please be careful on your trips...

Thank you!  I'll make sure that I'm home by 4:00 just in case.  Thanks again for the info.

@crmom - Looks like calls were rolling in around 6 this evening as well.

@crmom - The calls for mom's yesterday were coming in around 5 or 6, however the calls on Friday were coming in around 2 or 3. All I can say is it will probably be before 8 because they are allowed to go to sleep 2 hours early after Battlestations...at least that's what I've read.

@pinkaboo202

We're planning on being there if everything goes smoothly with our flight and drive up from Midway Airport.  We're staying at the Navy Lodge so we'll check in there first and then try to make it over to the Ramada for the Meet and Greet.  When do they get to make their call tomorrow?  Will it late in the day?  I have to run some errands tomorrow around lunchtime and I just don't want to miss that call.  I'll make sure that I'm here if I know about what time it'll be when they finally get to call.  Thanks.

@crmom - If I'm able to, I certainly will do my best to hold a seat for you. Are you coming to the meet 'n greet?

@Mossgirl4 - If I hear a loud scream on the highway tomorrow, I'll go ahead and post that you got your call.

@BobbieChris - We are leaving tomorrow (from Charlotte) by noon at the latest. School has been closed here for 2 days and I'm not sure if it will be tomorrow. Main roads are clear, but secondary streets are awful and I don't see how they can get buses down some..

I'm packing like a mad man - my husband is fussing about taking too much, but I don't give a whit! I want to be prepared and I am SO EXCITED!

Please, God, lift our recruits into your arms and carry them through the night. Give them the strength, courage and perseverance we know they have. Bless them and guide them in Your Name.

It's going to be hard to sleep tonight. That prayer will be my mantra.

If anyone from this group gets to the bleachers to be seated ahead of a lot of people, could you please do me a big favor and save a seat on the top bleachers.  I have cervical dystonia in my neck/right shoulder and I have to lean my head back against something to rest those muscles when I sit for any length of time.  My muscle spasms have really acted up this week so I might need to lean on that back wall if the graduation ceremony is long.  I can manage to grin and bear it if I have to, but the PIR would be a lot more enjoyable if I'm not dealing with muscle spasms and if I'm able to rest them by putting my head/shoulder weight against the wall.  Thanks to anyone that can help me.  I'm soooooo excited about this ceremony and can't wait to get there.

Good luck to our boys tonight at Battlestations.  I will be on the road tomorrow hopefully not in a dead zone when he calls
