Hey ladies, I'm back.  Surgery went well with no problems.  Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes, apparantely they were heard, lol.  I have received a couple of letters the latest one I got was this last friday the 17th.  He said they were all very tired and studying harder than ever for their second test.  They went to weapons live fire last week and hell week is the week of christmas which means they are in hell week right now.  Although they didn't quite know what to expect from hell week they were pretty excited because that meant they only had, as my son put it "Only 4 more letters to write, SWEET".  To J's mom that is so awesome that you get to see your recruit. Please Give him lots of hugs for all of our sons on xmas day and let them know how proud we are of all of them as a division.

I can't wait to see my recruit on Christmas! We are staying at the Ramada, anyone else staying there for Christmas eve and Christmas Day?

I got a letter from my son yesterday. He said all is well. Said they get 6 hours sleep time but that ironing and polishing boots is included in that time. He asked for paper and envelopes again. Apparently they do not get much paper to write on lol... Hope everyone gets a letter soon from their sons and daughters.

@ debbie I've had that feeling for a while - keep telling myself I'm being paranoid. They say no news is good news!

I have not gotten a letter in about a week.

Am I the only one having this strange feeling that something is going to happen and my son is not going to graduate on time.  I have not been able to shake this feelings and have not made any reservation for hotels for graduation yet because of it.

@Mossgirl4 - What is "Hell Week"?

I haven't heard anything from my son since last week.
