@ZachsinNavymom: Too funny, and it really hits home with me! My son has been texting like crazy! I can't always answer him right away as I teach school (enforcing a "no cell phone" rule when I'm standing there texting... very nice :)) so he'll text Mom? Mom? R u there? I had to remind him that I have a job, lol.
He's gone from bitter Chicago cold to palm trees and springtime (Port Hueneme, CA) and seems to be loving the experience!
Greetings, I just wanted to thank everyone for your prayers and encouragement. We're still in limbo waiting for a medial waiver. Hopefully he'll hear something this week. Other than that, my son is fine. He sounds good and is able to stay in touch via his cell phone. So, it hasn't been too bad.
I hope everyone is doing well.
@Barb - Cold ain't the word for it. I don't think I've ever experienced that kind of cold they have in Chicago. I don't know how or why people live there. I just couldn't do it.
@surfermom
Have you heard any details about the A school from your son? I've talked to mine very briefly but I don't know many details as usual. Hope you're feeling better after your cold last week.
Pink Please let us know an address so we can stay in contact with him, Thanks and We hope your son is doing better.
