Pink- I am so glad he is feeling better. What did they determine that he has?  Please let us know when you get the address for his bunkmate. Spending my weekend cleaning house and catching up with chores.

Greetings everyone. I haven't been on for a few days. Thank you guys so much for all of the well wishes and encouragement.

My son is still on hold on Ship 5. He was cleared by one doctor, but is now waiting to see if he can get an approval for a medical waiver because what he has could have long term effects. He won't know until next week. However, he says he feels great and the pain and bruising in his legs have practically disappeared. He's is a little disappointed because he really wanted to start A school with his shipmates.

As for his bunkmate, I don't have an address for him yet. He said he was headed to Texas. As soon as I get an address for him, I will definitely share it. Funny thing is, he's originally from my area. I told him if he ever comes this way, he has a place to stay.

We are all praying for your son. Your son's bunkmate do you know where he was going to A school? We would like to stay in contact with him and his success. Thanks and please keep us posted about your son.

Pink-

I think Ginny means we have a NAVY of Prayer Warriors in NC to pray for your son! Thanks for the pictures as well. If you can send the young man's address to us privately, I'm sure there are lots of mom's that could continue to write and support him. As a social worker, I know lots of young people in his situation and I'm sure he could use the continued support.

Pink - I am sorry to hear about your son.  Hopefully they are being overly cautious and it is not that serious.  Please keep us posted.

Pink - we are praying here in NC. I've got an army of "prayer warriors" that I'll put on this right away.
