SailorsWife congratulations to your husband that is great news. I will have to buy the DVD now LOL. Hope you get stationed to a nice warm climate, like Florida maybe. We had another 7" of snow yesterday this winter in New Hampshire stuff is starting to get old.
They all made it this far, they will make it all the way through. Now it is just down to the endgame, the ceremony and then on to A school.
It's been so long since I've been on here because my laptop is so unreliable. I did get a phone call from my husband last night and told him I fried my computer and need him to fix it. Now that we're down to 2 weeks everything is breaking. First my computer, than pipes freeze, than I have one burst in my garage, and my light smashed in my bedroom. I can't wait to be back with Mr. Fix It again!!! LOL.
My husband seemed to be in good spirits, although feeling kind of drowsy from all the shots yesterday. He said he's so proud of himself to make it through Hell Week, it wasn't as bad as he thought it was. He passed everything, which of course makes him happy. He got Sharp Shooter, was promoted to Section Leader, and trained his as Back Up Stick. Which is where he gets to carry a flag at PIR in case one of the other guys doesn't graduate or an incident occurs. He said I don't wish anything bad on anyone, but if it happens I'll be honored to carry that flag!
He didn't give me a date for Battle Stations, but I see a few that people have posted. I'm so eager for the "I'm a Sailor" phone call! He said that after he got off the phone with me he was getting his orders so I'll know in about a week what's going on and where we'll be stationed!
Hope everyone has a grand day! I know we're down to 14 days but I just realized that in 2 weeks from today I'll be at the Navy Lodge preparing for bed lol. I can't wait to watch my SR march in as a Sailor!
Found a note to when they start Battlestations under PIR 2/11/11 --
Mon, Feb 7th/Tues Feb 8th Div 69, 70, 71, 72
Says that Div 71 & 72 are brother divisions and go together. After they are done we will get the "I am a Sailor call" -- might be as late as Wednesday depending on when they finish!!!
14 days to PIR -- I am getting so excited. Getting my pink scarf ready! Gotta find some yellow to throw in there!
