they all get the "im here" call, the "im still alive" call around 3 weeks and the "im a sailor" call, i guess the rest are earned. i really hope the im a sailor calls come in before were all on our way to GL. i guess some come in that thursday.

I just had to threaten My Little Pony stickers and I got two letter this past week!  I hope it works for you William!!  I agree they are busy, but even a quick note is nice.  My son doesn't write much detail, but I am glad to get half a letter!

I have been wondering when we will get our "I am a sailor" calls too... I think it might be the week before graduation -- I wonder if that counts as our 3rd phone call?

William: the address was on that page along with their rating.  I'm sure your boy will get the message with the stickers, sometimes they are clueless though. LOL  They don't realize that a short, "I'm alive" message would alleviate a lot of worry & curiousity.   It is getting close that it won't be long before we hopefully get "I'm a sailor call".

Has anyone heard when battlestations21 will be?

Thanks texasmom. I really have no reason to think he has a problem with the PFA it is just the lack of letters that triggers my imagination. But the last time we spoke he said he was too busy to write and I said OK. That was my chance to speak up and say well get off your butt and write me anyway LOL.

What I did today was put some of the stickers on the letter and say I have plenty more where those came from, next time they go on the outside of the envelope and I wonder if your RDC likes My Little Pony as much as I do? Sort of tongue in cheek but the message is clear. I just want him to grab a pen and write for 5 minutes all I need is his forwarding address which come to think of it I already have it is on that same page I showed you. I am mostly curious about which nuclear rating he go. He will call again in two weeks so it is not a big deal Lol.

William: Thanks for the info   There is a lot of good info there.  I'm crossing my fingers for your son and the whole division to pass the PFA.

texasmom the ET/EM/MM description is listed in the "Your sailor's schedule" topic in the Nukes group here is the link and has a lot of good information about the nuke A schools:

At this point with only 2 weeks left  to go until they become sailors, I might as well wait until the "Dad, I'm a sailor" call LOL.   I think the  My Little Pony stickers and other stickers I have that are of his name, on the envelope, ought to get the results haha.   When I told my wife that stickers on the outside equals more physical training, she was not to thrilled with the idea of my putting stickers on his mail!  haha.   I might actually be doing him a favor by getting him to exercise more ... for all I know he has not passed the PFA yet, since he did not send me a letter.

Brit-It sounds like your bf will be taking mostly the same classes.  It will be good for them to know some of the students in their classes.

Love the stickers that sure would raise some eye brows.  ET sounds pretty good.  I'd been searching all over the internet trying to get a good definition, and that really clarifies it.  Thanks.  I think he would enjoy either one.  Where did you get the information?
