KDB  I do not know about Div 071 but I  have a friend in another forum whose daughter, also a nuke, was in my son's DEP group in Nashua, and was one month ahead.   She graduated from boot camp on Friday 1/7 and flew to Goose Creek  the following Tuesday.

Thanks NavyPops....at this point "uncertain" information is better than "no" information! :)  Looking forward to finding out "all" information!  :) lol

William...Have you heard when our "sailors" will be traveling to GC?  I have asked my SR in letters but have not gotten a response.  I am hoping to get a little clue.  I know things can change and I know that they may not know travel plans yet, but I thought I would ask you since your son will be going to GC too.  Thanks.

Funny!  I find it very amusing that my son is folding his clothes and heaven forbid ironing.  If you could have only seen his room.  You could barely walk between the door and the bed, clothes every where.  If the navy does nothing else for him this is amazing.

My son is also looking forward to the live shooting.  He also learned shooting in the scouts and one of my friends is an ex-marine that has quite an arsenal.  He loved shooting the 9 mm and some of his rifles.  At least there is something that they can look forward to.

I still think the stickers woiuld be really cute.

LOL William the stickers are just TOO funny! I'm sending out my hubs a card everyday this week for "Hell Week" I wish I would of thought of it sooner because than I would have sent them out last week so he had them every night this week. I informed him I'm thinking of him, and that he'll have a card every night next week. He laughed at me LOL. I just realized that one of the cards I bought has glitter on it, stupid me. I wrote on the back of the envelope to keep it far away from his body when he opens it and just read the little note I wrote and I won't be heartbroken if he throws it away lol. I'm such a dumb*** for sending it. But at least I put a warning label on it!

Congratulations SailorsWife that is great news that must have made your day. I hope my son learn something in boot camp about keeping his clothes neat. That was never his strong suit, to say the least LOL.

I wrote my son a letter wishing him good luck on the marksmanship course hope he earns a ribbon he learned to shoot in Scouts and I used to take him to the shooting range on occasion. I did mention the Tuesday & Thursday letter writing campaign and said I want to see his travel plans and new address IN WRITING not heard on a scratchy pay phone. I still have the My Little Pony stickers ready and waiting to stick on those envelopes LOL.
