We received our son's graduation photos and they look great. They really did a fine job of it. He wore the goofy Navy eyeglasses in the portrait but his own glasses in the division photo. I am sure this was deliberate Lol. He had a huge smile on his face.

I was glad he ordered Package A that has the huge portrait.

Happy Birthday to your son KDB!  Mine also had a birthday this week, he turned 19 the day that they flew to Nuke school.  3 birthdays in the same week.  I did get to talk to him when he arrived.  The first of many birthdays that I will miss I'm sure.  He is supposed to get his computer and phone today so I'm hoping he will call again.  He doesn't seem to be checking his email.

Hi!  My son called me this evening from GC, SC.  He of course wanted to give me his address so I can mail him his electronics as soon as possible.  He seems to really like SC so far.  He said that all the sailors were put in with room mates that have been there for a while.  They were not allowed to specify roomies.  The rooms were nice.

It was nice meeting you and your sons crazee_kat and sailinghi.  They were really nice and so mature.

SailingHi-I also calculated that they would be done with A school in the end of August or beginning of Sept.  if everything goes well.  Since Power School starts on odd months I'm hoping it will be August otherwise they will be on hold till November.  Can't wait for their two weeks of leave.  I will definitely fly in for the graduation, no more driving for me.  I may go for a weekend some time during the summer too if they have a short break from studies.  They are pretty close to both Mrytle Beach and Hilton Head.

Crazee_Kat-hope your son gets better.  Bummer that he is being held in the cold.

Navy Pops-I would love it if you could send me a copy of the pictures too.  I really would appreciate it since I didn't make it in time.  My email is chaela267@gmail.com.

Thanks everyone for helping me through BC, I don't know how I would have made it without every1.

Linda
