Good morning ladies. I was just wondering if anyone has gotten letters or phone calls from your SR. We are snowed in in Georgia and the mail didn't come yesterday and it is unlikely that it comes today. If anyone gets a letter and doesn't mind writing what our div is doing that would be great and I would appreciate it so. Thanks. Just hearing about the little things makes me happy. I am so glad we have N4Ms! I would be lost without all of you!
yeah i live in MN where its 70 one day and - 40 the next.
right now im planning on driving,
are you gals planning on being their a day before and staying the weekend? im trying to figure how many days to book? so far i havnt heard anything about him being a grad n go. so im guessing hel have the whole wknd?
Good morning everyone! I'm definitely going to the PIR even if I have to drive. This Texas mom would not miss the PIR for anything. I'm hoping one or both of his brothers will make it too. One is in college and the other a senior in HS. I've lived up north in CO, DE, and NY so the snow isn't a big problem unless the roads are impassable.
I definitely don't have the cold weather clothes any more so I'm just going to have to layer, layer and more layers. May actually buy pantyhose to wear under black dress pants or black jeans for the warmth. And of course the ribbon and yellow/gold scarf.
Not sure when we are arriving in GL. I will go to the events if I am in by then. I haven't decided if I'm flying or driving yet. I do have hotel reservations at the Residence Inn which is pretty close too.
Linda
Anyone else from our group going to the meet and greet? I booked the Courtyard Marriott next door and will be attending. There is a Walmart and several restaurants within walking distance -- us Texas girls don't drive in snow! (Texasmom, are you going to brave the cold for graduation?)
Emlovee -- what about dark black jeans or real dark blue jeans. I read on some of the sites to dress up alittle but to also be comfortable. I am either going to wear brand new blue jeans or dress pants... and to dress warm, even though it is inside it still may be cold. I think I may have posted the link to that site earlier in the discussions.
32 days!
it was great to hear in the last call that they got fitted for their grad uniforms, nick was very excited! he explained how they did that in the same building that they where in the very first day they got their so he got to see all of the scared kids arriving who didnt know what they had coming lol. i cant believe it has been a month, it is exciting to hear about them getting ready for grad(: i cant wait!!
