Joanie,

Funny thing... Marc said your son said that was his girlfriend (not his sister), told Marc her plan to fall, he said she "was hot" and their would have been a fight to help her up!  :)

I am sad all my pics of the division are dark. I would love to have some pics. We got a call tonight from our son, he is staying at Great Lakes for A school. He was raving about the base and all the options for food! He was unsure when he would get his address so we can send his phone and computer.

Navy Pops if you could send me pics too, please. buckeyefarmer@hotmail.com

Our son said "You Navy moms! When I knew the answer to a question.

Was great to meet some of you in person... Thanks TexasMom and SailingHi for helping to arrange rides as well!  Glad the boys got to see that the Mom's (and Dads in some cases) knew each other!  My son would ask "how did you know that?"  and I would answer "Navy4Moms"!

My son is still in GL, he got put on Medical Hold.. something with his eye.  He is impatiently waiting to be sent to Pensacola, I hope it happens soon for his sake.  Seems like it is an easy fix (glasses or contacts or possibly laser surgery) but they haven't acted on it yet.  He is ready to get out of the cold.

If anyone wants to keep in touch via facebook, look me up -- Kathie McNamee

I have posted a few pictures and linked to some others... still haven't downloaded mine from my camera,

Smiles

Kathie

PS. I was able to meet a lot of Division 071, he was so excited to finally be introducing his wife to everyone! There are only 2 boys that I remember though, LOL. Way too many people! I'm trying to track down a fiance' of one of the boys because my husband is really good friends with him. I posted on the facebook group the boys last name. If any fiance's are interested lol, message me!

I haven't received any calls from my Sailor. :( I talked to him Sunday night, unfortunately Saturday was the last time I could see him because his aunt and uncle had to be back by Monday morning to return to work, so Sunday he stayed on base and said he played pool with some other guys. When he called me Sunday night I was able to let him know his sister was having labor pains and was going to the ER. Early Monday morning she had our little nephew, yes our Valentine's Day baby, but I haven't been able to give him the good news! I'm hoping he calls soon. he should be in Pensacola by now.

He also called me from Chicago airport at 7:45 am eastern time their flight left at 8 am central time.  I just got a voice mail a few minutes ago that they have landed in S. Carolina.

In the Nukes conference the Your sailors schedule at A School not has the address at Goose Creek discussion has their address while they are in Indoctrination division.  I think that address is good as soon as they report to the base.
