Thanks for the info William.  I was about to ask if anyone knew when the nukes were flying out.  They must have left pretty early.  My boy was hoping for a long stay in the USO with all the goodies.

Does anyone know how quickly they get their room assignment/address.  I know that all these sailors want their electronics as soon as possible.

I am going to contact the RTC photo lab and see if they have any that I can get.  My ex took some, but I won't get it until he returns from a business trip.  He said that he wasn't able to sit right in front of the division, the 71 division area was full, so I'm not sure how good they will be.  They said that they could never find my son.  They all looked alike and he was towards the back, a disadvantage for the taller boys.  Can't wait for the dvd.

The PIR photos are up on the RTC website here

No pictures of Div 071.

I got a call from my son 45 minutes ago from Atlanta airport  he is with the other nukes from our division headed to Goose Creek to report to nuclear A school,  they are in the air now flying to Charleston, SC.  They are all wearing Navy dress blues so it must be quite a sight.

It might be possible to get photos from the RTC photo lab.

Hello all...Did anyone get any photos of our division during PIR?  We were all the way on the other end.  Would love to see pics if anyone did.  Thanks.

Hi everyone!  I just made it back.  Wow!  I'm flying from now on.  Missed the graduation due to bad roads on the way up, didn't get in until 6:30pm so I barely saw him before he had to report back in to base. Luckily his dad was there. Had a great time with him on Saturday and Sunday.  Sorry I didn't get to meet many of you, but if your Sailor is going on to Goose Creek we may have some more chances.  Can't wait to get the DVD and the keel.  He didn't like the pictures so he didn't get them.  Wish he had, but what can you do.

Woke up in my own bed in Mass this morning................wish I was still in Chicago. BUT what a weekend !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . Once again it was very hard to say good bye, BUT knowing that I was leaving him in good hands made it easier.   I can not believe how grown up my boucncing (19 year old) baby boy has become within the last two months. He will be in the Great Lakes for another 19 weeks I was thinking of making another trip out there maybe around May. Hope all you others had a wonderful weekend too.
