Help BIGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG dilema

Spoke to my "Sailor" was told we have friday till 8pm with him. Only 2 hours Sat.due to watch etc. and from 7-7pm sunday. Problem is my "lovely ex husband who booked the flight has us leaving @9:40am on sun. Just got off the phone with Jet Blue and they said an additional 220.00 per person to change to a later flight there is 5 so that's 1100.00 or I could wait to the day of my flight and do the "same day change flight for 40.00 per person. So if I call them at 12:01am and see if they have availablity on an later flight. How in the hell am i going to let him know whats going on ? Who do I call? Anyone  know? WTF Very, very distraught......
