I also got a letter yesterday and my son said the same thing about not being able to pull it together as a team.  Mine also sounded depressed.  But then also in the next paragraph he was excited about Firefighting school and they had there pictures taken and the trailer they went into had a radio going.  He said it was the first time he had heard a song since he got there and he hummed it all day.  He said it was even a Taylor Swift song and he hates Taylor Swift but he did not care it was music!!!  LOL   He also said it made him think of his sister because she loves Taylor!!!  I am praying for our SR's that they will come together for Battle Stations.  I know they can do and will!!  Have a good day all

Thanks for updating us all about the flag!!! That is great news!  When I get letters they aren't informative at all ...very vague..but I can tell he has a positive attitude and his sense of humor shines through!  I miss him so much!!! 17 days sounds a lot better than 57!!!!

No phone call here...but luckily I ran out of chocolate at lunch time, and haven't left the house for fear that I would miss the phone call:)

I did get a letter today with a somewhat smarta** attitude. Something about not being able to answer moms bootcamp questionnaires because of no opinions allowed there, and a challenge to his sister that he is going to show her what a clean room really looks like when he gets home!!!

He also talked about LIVE FIRE, having earned some ribbons, and the division getting their first flag...the star flag for passing their zone inspection, and hoping for their second flag tomorrow.

Seems that spirits are high and division 135 is working well together.

No phone call here either.  He usually calls his gf and she said the call has come as late as 10:30 PM!!

Do you think the phone call schedule changed because of the President's speech?  I wonder if our sons and daughters watched.

hang in there ladies the phone calls will come and it will make our day keep up the faith 17+ days and we will see them face to face cant wait

My SR told me that they won't ever call after 730...just think of it this way ladies. A watch pot never boils. We're going to get these calls when we least expect it. Everybody keep their heads up and try to have a good rest of the night
