For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I am not sure he just said a few of the guys got pulled off of the side and was allowed 10 min phone calls. I assumed it was our division. He also said everybody would get a call on Monday.

I can't believe it I just got a phone call from my son!!! He said him and a few others were given 10 mins to make phone calls. He just made my whole weekend. He sounded really happy. He also said he would talk to me again on Monday.

I got a letter today and my son also states that they will get a phone call this coming week but he said Tuesday or Thursday. So I guess I am going to attach the phone to my hip until I get that call next week. LOL have a great weekend everybody!!

Very good idea to make a list. The last time he called I was at a loss for words, I was so glad to hear his voice I forgot everything I wanted to ask him!!!
