Yes, I received the same letter that Mike hadn't passed his PT by 2 pushups last week!!!

I was also a little worried like you Kim, but then I remembered reading somewhere that the Navy wants these SR's to make it as badly as we do...they have invested alot of time and money in our boys at this point, and the RDC's are there to help them make it through!!!

In his letters my son, Demi's fiancee, sounds really positive. He has passed everything else that they have thrown at him, and I know he is very determined to get this done...I'm sure Doug feels the same way!!!!

I know our boys will pass PT!!!

My son also failed the 1st PT test.  I know that they took it again on the 18th and I am sure they will take it a couple of more times.  They are going to give them the best shot at making it.  I even read if they fail Battle Stations they will let them go though it again with another div so they can try again.  I will say a prayer for Mikey I know it is hard.  My son didn't even meet the weight requirements when he left they had to give him a variance... His little tooth pick arms could not do his push up!!  LOL  But I know they will make it!!!  Good luck all.

I think they will all encourage each other, and run along side Doug to help him pace himself.  They are a unit and TEAM now.

I understand worrying :(

But I have a Good Feeling about this :)

Thank you for the words of encouragement Demi!  I am such a worrier!  I know you are right, he wants to make it worse than I want him to make it!  Good luck to MIkey!  I sure hope to see you at the graduation!!!

kim, as of a week ago my fiance failed his PT by two pushups! he wasn't too happy about it but he didn't seem stressed so that leads me to believe that they may have a few more chances, if not at least one... but i'm sure doug has improved TREMENDOUSLY :) i know mikey has! he's cut a whole minute off of his run time and before he left i don't think he could do more than ten push ups or sit ups :)

I found out today, through Doug's dad that he has not yet passed his PT.  I am so afraid he will not get to graduate with his division.  I am praying my hardest he will pass it this week (I think they try again tomorrow) - all prayers appreciated!!!!

Beth -  Sorry it took so long to respond, I just got off work.  To enlarge a picture,  press control and the + sign, keep pressing until you get it the size you want.  You can enlarge it to 400% - but it is blurry.  At 200% it is still clear - wish I could find Doug, but I can't see him!
