For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Zac wrote that he is a RCPO. I guess that is a Recruit Command Petty Officer.
He said that he gets to shout commands when they are marching.
I am proud that he is trying so hard to make an extra effort to do well!
Can't wait to see them march into the stadium in their blue uniforms!!!
@ Beth mine said the same thing about the swim thing. I think they even had a couple to panic in the pool. So I know what you mean. So glad to hear you got a letter. Don't mind if you use my name. Thanks

I got another letter today. He sounded very positive. He passed his Swim test! He was amazed at how many SRs chose the Navy and they can't swim!!
He'll be going to Submarine School! Don't know if anyone else is???

Well I got 2 more letters today!! My SR is doing great! He was really excited about a Marline spike which was a hands on class he said was really fun. I am not sure if spelling is correct on that my son's hand writing need a lot of work..LOL He said Friday they were having another PT test and then another PI inspection were they get to stand at attention for 3 hours so he was not looking forward to it. Other than that he really sounded like he was doing well. Have a great day!!
