Hope everybody has a nice day! Today is offically 30 days down, 30 to go! Our SR's are already half way there. It only gets easier from here on for both them, and us back at home. Hang in there everyone. April 15th is right around the corner (:

I received 3 more letters today! Yeah!!!! The letters seem to come in bunches. One was dated March 7th, one March 8th, and one Feb. 20th...however and whenever they get here I'm just happy to hear from him.

He wrote about inspections and having to stand for 4 hours. He really seems to like PT, and he said the food was really good (although he blamed that on the camping effect...were food tastes better at camp :) )

He also requested more pre printed address labels of the mailing addresses and his return address. I sent him some of those during week 1. He says it makes life just a little easier.

Hello! Here is some more information from Zlatko. They work out 6 days a week, 2 hours per day. Gear on their back is heavy, 60-70lb. They are eating healthy and drinking 8-12 liters of water. Seems like they were given different duties, he is Yeoman. They tried their graduation uniforms and will be getting their first pay check on 3.15.11 Sometimes they go to sleep at 9:00 P.M. and get up at 6:30 A.M., but somedays they go to bed at 10 pm. and get up at 5 am. He said that they love getting letters from home, it keeps them sane. They do not have much time to write, because it is so busy. So, keep sending them a letters, more the better. I send fun card  or letter every day. Bo

My SR was congested too. He said that there's a cold going around that all the boys are getting. Hopefully they'll all feel better soon! Still on cloud 9 from yesterdays phone call. Hope everybody else is too! :)

Got my phone call yesterday as well :) Greatest fifteen minutes of my life, though i was blubbering and crying the whole time! My SR is doing well -- he sounded a bit congested, but i'm sure it's just the weather change... Afterall, it IS tank top and short weather he's used to here in phx :)

Glad you got word from your son Bo!

Thanks for sharing with us.  Every little bit of information helps me feel closer to what they are going through :)
