No call yet.  I did notice that another division with a PIR date of 4/15/11 got calls today - so maybe it will be soon.  I sure hope so!

Only 39 days left!!! :)

My SR mentioned that the first day they received mail was saturday. However, he hadn't gotten any of my letters yet. I read that they spoon feed them by holding their mail and only giving them one letter every day or two. Hopefully they'll receive our stuff soon!

I'm happy for you Al!  My son mentioned the shot in the rear too :)

I heard that they might be able to call home this weekend!

I recieved 6 full page letters from my boyfriend today! he talked about the food and about his painful rear shot. he says PT isn't as bad as he thought but that the push up part of the test was hard. it sounds like he's doing good so i'm very relieved. he's drawn funny stick figure pictures in each letter. Not even the military could take his sense of humor away. I'm a very happy girl (: hope everybody recieves letters soon!

My son's letter was dated last Thursday.  It did not sound like they had let them receive mail yet at that point.  I'm sure they must have by now.

He says, food is OK but they won't let you take food with you (No Snacking)!

Lots of shots, one that hurts in your rear.  Mostly hurry up and wait, the first week.  He said they were to start PT last Friday.  There are 75 SR in his division.  He misses his family and friends.

I imagine most kids would be saying similar stuff.

It was great to hear from him.  I will be carrying the letter with me for days!

Beth :)
