I got a letter today! As usual it wasn't very informative.  He said he can't wait for graduation, that he had to have a root canal and that really hurt, and he is looking forward to heading south for A school.  He said live fire was fun, and also that the time is going faster and the weeks don't seem to drag.  He also said he passed test two, but I have no idea what that means!  He talked about his St Louis Cardinals, wanting to know how they are doing in spring training and wondering how they will do in the regular season. (We often would go to opening day for the Cardinals, I am going to miss it this year).

Wow this is awesome news Bo!!!

Thank you sooo much for sharing your 14 page letter with us :)

I usually get the 1 pagers also :)

Glad that there is another SR that says the division is doing better.

My son has also written letters voicing his concerns over the divisions teamwork. However, his letter yesterday was so positive with good news regarding the flags that they had earned, that some of the other posts really had me worried.

The teamwork right now maybe good or not so good, but lets just be positive and hopeful about the fact that it's getting better!!!!

A new training record set by division 135...now that's impressive :)

Sounds great Bo!  Thanks for the news!  Wow, 14 pages is a looooong letter!  Doug's letter is usually only one page!

Hello to all! I just got letter from Zlatko, 14 pages long with a lot of information.

Division is doing great, they got their 2nd flag and Divison 135 set new training record for completition speed and no safety violation on some kind of seamanship test  that lasted 5 hours, they were rewarded with 2 hours of extra sleep. There are 8 boys which were sent home, one for health reasons the others I am not sure why. Beth, your son Zac and Zlatko are the best friend, they sleep in the bunk next to each other. They had lot of fun shooting real guns, spirits are high... ladies cheer up, boys are doing well..Bo

Hi Cathy!  I am in the southern part of the state about an hour from Kentucky.  Great Lakes is about a 7 hour drive for us - not too bad.
