Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Yes ma'am! We're on base...it's very nice! I have no complaints yet LOL Matt is having a rough time b/c apparently they're treating him like he's in bootcamp again, but he is the low man on the totem pole again...I told him to give it a few weeks and it'll get better =) Keep us in your prayers! Thanks ladies

Hey everyone! We got here late Wednesday night and moved into our apt Thursday! We are getting settled in quickly but have been so busy getting the house in order we haven't gotten out much yet! I am super excited to be here and can't wait to meet some new people =)

Hey ladies....we're on the road to WA!!! We are stopped in North Dakota for the night and are still hoping to arrive Thursday(late afternoon) just wanted to check in...things have gone very smoothly thus far, keep us in your prayers!

Monkey has always done SUPERB on road trips, however he has only been from FLA to Maine and back...which is only a fraction of the miles! But he will do great the first 2-3 days but we'll get through it! We were thinking of leaving him here w/the in-laws for a few days and then fly them out to get him back, but the airfare is outrageous and plus we really want him with us! So, we'll do whatever it takes to get there as quickly as possible =) Thanks everyone

I hope James has a safe trip over to GA as well, we have ALOT farther to go...LOL
But we're hoping to make the trip in 4 days ....I'll try to keep everyone updated on what kind of time we're making =) We head out around 6am Saturday! It's still hard to believe that we're moving already

David:yes my hubby had to fill out a ton of paperwork but everything is set up and we're picking up our truck early Friday morning and heading out Saturday sometime =)

HUBBY IS HOME SAFELY!! WE'RE HEADING TO BANGOR, WA ON SATURDAY, IT SHOULD TAKE US 6-7 DAYS TO GET THERE =)
