Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Karen:did Niki say if there Battlestations were still scheduled for tuesday Dec 22nd? I am guessing it could change just like Div 030's did :( I hate this not knowing junk(it's for the birds)

He's very handsome Patrice!! CONGRATS!! So, now are all of our recruits doing Battlestations next week except for 801&906? that's alot of recruits at the same time LOL I am still praying for a phone call maybe tomorrow to know for sure or a letter monday would be ok too. Had a fun, crazy day! PHEW-glad it's over

Ladies, we are off for the day---so much to do! After Monday our week should slow down a bit-thank God! PHEW. Going to my brothers CO Christmas party(he is a captain on a tugboat) and we take all the kids out for a ride and lunch, its alot of fun! Then am going to pick up my 2 nieces for our 2nd family Christmas party @ 4pm! So, won't be back until later tonight--I hope Div 030 starts making there Im a asailor calls soon!!!

Joan:your recruit will most certainly be in my prayers!! I think we area all worried and will probably stay that way until we get the "I'm a Sailor" call!! LOL Let's stay positive and keep our heads up! I am sure they will all pass and do awesome!! = )
