ok, so my hubby informed me today that he DOES NOT want me and our son traveling via public transportaton :P so, now i am looking into just doing a one way rental car (picking up at O'Hare dec 29th and dropping off in waukegan same day) and then again for jan 4th our day heading back. is anyone else doing this? I cannot afford to keep the rental all 6 days! And when he is with us i dont think it will be such a big deal :) any thoughts on this? even rentin a car just for the few hours both days will end up costing me around $215.00 i dont know how. When i book i will call directly and see if i can get some discount b/c this is ridiculous! LOL

Joan:each recruit is different...some i have heard are reporting to school on the 4th and my hubby isn't reporting to school until jan 6th, so i would contact RTC for information or wait until your recruit lets u know his plans. I do know that RTC can't give out any info on a certain recruit, they only give out general information :(
