Trisha:he's doing a lil better now! We made him a BuildABear in a navy suit w/a recording of daddy and we listen to it b4 naptime and bedtime, so that helps! and we always kiss him goodnight of course! LOL he is still not completely normal but then again we're in a completely new place...so with that he's doing GREAT! I am thinking about beginning the potty training phase next week-wish us luck! I'd love to take him to see daddy wearing big boy underwear LOL

Shayna's Mom, No he left out of Sacramento. Our young men and women are starting to see the world already in the voices and faces of the people they are going through BC with. They are from every state, every walk of life. A chance to compare notes with people from the north, south, east and west of this great nation. My son wants to see the world I hope he realizes it starts right there.

Pegatha you're totally RIGHT! That's what I always say...POSITIVE! my hubby left 10/28 as well! I can't believe it's already been 3 weeks?! We only have 6 weeks to go!!! WE CAN DO IT!

Christine ship09 div 037 Thanks for the comments. Andrew got there on 10/28 and today is exactly 3 weeks. That would be amazing if I got a call today. My mail does not get here until 5 or 5:30pm which is annoying. Now is the time to have patience and I was not blessed with much of that. Guess we are all learning to have more patience or drive our self nuts!! I wanted to encourage my son with each letter I sent. I bought my 3 sons each a copy of a childrens book when they we adults because I felt it had the best message for everyone. I reminded Andrew of this in my last letter to him. "The Little Engine That Could". I Think I Can, I Think I Can, I Think I Can. If you think you can, you WILL!! The love we have for our loved ones that are so far away turns us upside down and inside out. The best thing I can do for my son is keep everything positive.
