georganna:his grad date should stay 12/30 unless he fails a test. if he fails anything he will make a phone call home to let ya'll know! However, I haven't made my reservations yet-i am still waiting until my hubby lets me know for sure if he's confident that he can pass the exams-will probably make my reservations around dec 1st!

anyone got a phone call today? Not me!
Comment by Pegatha on November 17, 2009 at 5:49pm
I am not sure how they dole out the phone calls but have not gotten one from my son. He is in ship 09 div 033. I know that he is VERY busy and very tired at night says he falls right to sleep. I also know that they need time to study and I would rather he do that so he passes then take time to write me, I wish he had time for both. I just keep sending my love and encouragement.

OK I know that we still have 6 weeks until PIR but I am already wondering when our recruits will do BattleStations? LOL Most of the Div do them 2-3 days b4 PIR, but there are so many Div's I am wondering if some of our recruits will do them the week of Christmas? HHMM...just thinking?
Comment by Tabitha on November 17, 2009 at 3:33pm
Oh I wouldn't worry! I am sure all of our recruits will do GREAT! Shayna's mom: has she already had her first PFT or swim test?

Hey tmsy22:the letter from my hubby also said that any recruit who fails a test will get asmo'd(put in a diff div and grad a week or 2 later) and trust me I think this scares all of us! I haven't booked any of my stuff yet...just in case. But let's all try to think positive thoughts and yes if any recruit is being held back they will be told to make a phone call home :) so that's good! I am still waiting for my PHONE CALL!!! Not for being held back LOL-my hubby said he passed the 1st PFT and Swim test - YAHOO! And apparently the guys in his div won't shut up and still keep getting intensive training, but he loves it b/c he says he's going to be the "BUFFEST" guy coming out of BC LOL it made me laugh! He sounds really good and hope this helps anyone that hasn't gotten a letter this week. Remember let's keep writing them letters-EVERYDAY! = D

I had a rough night...but today is a new day. Pocahontas:have you gone on base to get your ID yet? I got my ID Friday but the Decal office was closed so I think im heading there again today to check out the NEX and get my decal for the car. It's overwhelming driving on base and not knowing where to go or who to talk to...wish me luck :)
