Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

OK, my hubby is doing great! He said his Div is having alot of IT too b/c of people who won't shut their mouth! LOL He said he got all of my letters on Friday last week...and they were officailly allowed to write last sunday! So, the letters should be coming! Woohoo! He said he's focusing on the studying part and he's doing awesome on his pyhsical part!!! I knew he would! Im so porud of him!!

Yay Janice!! Let us know how ur daughter is doing when u open the letter!! Im jealous but i am sure my letter is on it's way! Or at least it better be or I will be toasting for real too! LOL

Nice Trisha! I will toast too if that will bring me a letter. Since yesterday wasn't a mail day i doubt i'll get a letter today. But staying positive and hoping for some sort of contact! Hope we all have a great day! Tomorrow is Friday-woohoo!

Trisha-I've thought about that too!! LOL I think I will do that! Im going to have too! He'll just have to sit on my lap and be crunched together-he's flown alot already so he should be fine! LOL this will free up $400.00 to spend or pay other bills. Thanks and wow Christopher-ya'll are driving from tampa? that's a LONG drive-i google map'd it and it's way too far to drive alone

wow...i have to stop checking the airfare prices! They are literally going up every single day!!! It's making me very nervous-i'd hate to have to end up leaving my son behind :( i know my hubby wants to see him the most! But since he's 2 now he has to have a seat and i can't see paying almost $400.00 after fees for a seat?! Hopefully it will all come together!

I am still hoping for a phone call too! Come on Baby CALL!!! I will look into the southwest flights! it's definitely worth the no change flight fee...LOL
