Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Yeah! We have 7 members so far for our Ship and Division.

Is everyone staying at the Residence Inn?  I noticed on the bootcamp group that there is someone who makes the ribbons so that can can stand out for our SR's is anyone interested?

Quite a few of us are staying at RESIDENCE CHI WAUKEGAN GURNEE. Not sure if you have reservations yet but you will find some of the division family here. :) Looking forward to meeting up.

Hi my son is in this Ship/Div. I will be driving in from Louisiana, I am truely proud because he is fourth generation NAVY following in my footsteps...lol. Would like to meet up before PIR should be in to Chicago early on the 16th so if anyone is interested feel free to drop me a line. Thanks Tim will leave last name blank right now for security, and I heard from him yesterday but it was only to get info for his security clearence, he sounded tired but OKAY...yeah well hope to hear from others in 9/206

I am at the Residence Inn as well. I agree airfare and hotels will go quickly. Looking forward to graduation.  Does anyone have any thoughts on airfare? Should it be purchased now or should we wait...

Have you recieved a letter from your Son yet? My Son wrote us on 24th April and said that his bunk mate is from California, and that he was cool and they help each other out. We are from Temecula, CA.
