I thought it would be good to start a sub group for our Div. Since our recruits probably know each other!

It is my understanding that they can go but will only get seated if there is room.  They can wait in the Museum or Visitor's ? I heard this somewhere on here but not sure where.  You may want to research that.

We are staying at the Residence Inn. My husband, my 16 yr. old daugher, and of course ME, THE MOM :).

More than likely flying into Midway, via Portland, OR, and renting a car.

kathyann, I've also heard that if you have more than 4 that they can wait and be seated if there is room. They have a special seating area for the handicapped, if she needs it. And our PIR only has 7 divisions so there should be plenty of room for extra people. Also, if he had a buddy that doesn't have 4 coming, he can ask them to add someone to the list for him. They just need to know the name of the buddy.

We will also be staying at the Residence Inn!

I recieved a third letter today!!!  He said they know each other by last names so it's hard to know if they know each others kiddos? oh well,I understand security and privacy. But it's fun any way!
I heard the same thing from our son as well.  Funny we will know them by first name and they by last....
That is great! I am waiting for my 3rd letter. A call would be wonderful as well! From what I am reading, unless our SR's are a "grad and go", we may get them until Sunday evening. My SR will being doing school at Great Lakes, so hopefully I can talk him into going to Six Flags for some fun in the water park and on the rides!  I really don't think it will take much coaxing!

My son mentioned wanting to go to Six Flags and we'll take him if that's where he wants to go.  I honestly can't imagine them really wanting to do anything except sleeping, eating something fried(my son's request) and taking a 2 hour shower.  LOL

Our son said he wanted chicken fried steak, a Rockstar, and a shower to himself!  Ah yes ..... the little things in life.

He did mention as a reward they may get phone privlages soon!

Our son mentioned they may be making mandatory calls beginning today!  So keep your fingers crossed and your phone close!

Oh Gosh, I hope.  I miss him so much.  I just want to hear his voice.

Wanted to share with you a T-shirt I bought.  It says, "Don't mess with me, I raised a sailor and sleep with a biker".  Ha Ha.  I got it at Cafepress.com.  They have a ton.  I bought my son a t-shirt that says he supports his Navy brother.  I also bought my daughter a t-shirt that says she supports her navy brother.  Very cute!!
