Moms/Wives of 11/180: We were great support for each other during boot camp. Let's keep in touch and update each other on how our sailors are doing. PIR was awesome, but liberty was too short.

Julie, so sorry I did not meet you. My one complaint about PIR was that it was such a whirlwind and we were all so focused on our boys, of course. Your Mom should get her "bragging rights." My parents are still calling people and emailing photos. We had 11 at lunch. Sounds like you did too. We went to Giordano's in Gurnee. There were 2 other sailor families there. Where did you all go?
Got Back about 11PM last night...I here you about the laundry...and now have time to focus on the house more!
I am pooped. We were at 3 airports yesterday! My neighbor is inviting us over for carne asada dinner. YAY! I don't have to cook and it will be nice NOT to eat out! I ate too much! We LOVE Cracker Barrel as we live in CA and don't have them here (and I don't want them to come here!). We tried a few other places and I will put it in my Blog.
I think I know the Gurnee Mall inside and out. LaLa warned me about how it is set up. I will talk about that too!
It was great fun meeting all of you other 18o Moms, wives, GF, fiancees, dads and our one Sailor DforMegan. I am really glad he came to the M & G! We just had to see him face-to-face. Semper Fortis!
I am so thankful for the extra days with our son. He wanted to see a movie and just shop and be with us. He's in Pensacola and has a room mate from his division.
Glad you started this Group laurelbc! Thanks!
I am Blogging about our trip (since we don't travel!). The main title is "BLOG OPS" PIR 05/26/2011 with subheadings. I only have a couple of days done but am looking forward to getting on it while it is all fresh. I wil add pics too.
And I really am considering making that patch...LOL
