I had to work Sunday so I missed the phone call this weekend. Sounds like something my son would really be excited about though. Thanks for the info!! I was picturing something worse. I think I worry too much :)

Hey Momof5..so glad Travis is upbeat because my LONG call with Aaron and the two letters I have gotten from him has been exactly the same. He told me in voice and in the letters..its not that bad. He's up for the challenge, etc. If yours said it..mine wasn't snowing me?!? LOL. Yeah..good to hear other kids feel the same way. I have to remember though..mine didn't have wisdom teeth pulled (ouchies) and mine is a bit older and maybe reasons everything out a bit more? I dunno..just cool Travis said the same thing. Have a great day. -Loretta

My son is also a GradNGo. His letter last week said "probably not" but his phone call yesterday said he was "for sure". Hoping for airport time. This is the first phone call where, according to his gf, he sounded "up", even happy. Yeah.

Going to a funeral for a family whose son is in the Navy and the father of the son has died. It's local to me so I'm going to go. I will use the time to pray for all of our kids/spouses as well as the family who lost their dad/husband. I'm sure they would appreciate all your prayers too.

I got a call but my husband sounded VERY exhausted. Please pray for him everyone. He says everythin is going well tho. I found out the reason he didn't get to call me the other day for the 30min call was because he was stuck at the dentist. Said his appointment was at 11am and they didn't see him until 2pm! When he was done he said he ran about 2 miles to the phone with a swolen jaw to try and call me but by the time he got there they were marching back. He was and still is really hurt about missing the phone call home that day. I almost cried when he told me that! Can't wait til the next call/letter. Glad you guys got ur phone calls too!

Pinky! Wasn't that call the BEST?!? It was my first call from my son as well that day. A whole 27 min and 14 seconds because he called his gf once and missed a call due to 'watch' (what ever that is..). I enjoyed that call so much!.. On the letters...I am sure Sara wants to write but the emotions of writing to YOU are hard. She misses her MOM..lol. HOW cute is that. Just know you are in her heart and soul! I told my son I do not expect him to respond to all my letters..that it just comforts me to write them. LOL. I think I am doing harder BC time than he is! Miss and Love my boy lots!

Sara is writing all her siblings & friends, but has not written me...when I talked to her yesterday she said everytime she starts her letters to me she starts crying. But, I was so excited with the phone call yesterday; I don't care if she writes as long as I can hear her voice. The long call was definitly a treat. I was home when she called my cell, so everyone got to talk with her and we called friends with other cells & put all on speaker; it was awesome to hear all the support and prayes for Sara. I could hear the happiness in her voice. I think I will have to send the questionairs if I want to know anything. She did say she missed last weeks phone calls because that is when they pulled her wisdom teeth. I cannot wait to see her...

I still haven't gotten a call but his gf did and she always calls me and fills me in. She is a great girl. He passed his PT test with flying colors and attributed the long phone call to that. Also complained about the girls not getting along and the extra IT. I received my first short letter today...felt great.

Oh ok that could be why. My husband went to the dentist last Wed. And I got a call Sunday so I am very thankful for that.
