Has to be hard though..hearing her cry. I so know the feeling of wanting to jump in the car to get our kids...will keep you and her in my thoughts and prayers. Almost 3 weeks into BC..it HAS to be getting better! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Oh, wow. My daugher is part of this crew. I received 2 calls already and both times I could not understand her through the tears...she said she had finally had enough and yelled back at someone (couldn't make out who). I thank she said she wanted me to come and get her right now; then the phone went dead. All I could do was repeat over and over that I love her and that I am proud of her; that she had alot of courage and that she would make it.

Hey guys! Glad we all agree on 'adopting' a sailor if need be. I will write Aaron about that tomorrow. ;-) My son is a pretty 'friends' kinda making guy so hopefully our boys are all together and having some sort of connection?!? I hope they allow that..ha! I can't wait to hear from my boy. I check the mail daily and live with my phone (hoping he doesn't call the gf AGAIN..urg..lol). Keep me posted if you hear from your Sailors..and lets pray for them all!

My husband wanted to do NUKE as well, he scored really high on the asvab but they said all the slots were filled and he would have to wait until the beginning of next year to ship. Of course we didnt want to dely the process any longer, so he chose the ACEF (advanced computers and electronis field) for either ET-elec. tech. or FC fire control!

Welcome Loreta!!! Yes, i am in Westland, not far from you at all!!! My husband left from MEPS on 9/22 so just a day after your sailor. How cool is it that they are both on the same ship and div!!! I agree with you guys about the sailors with no family to write or support. Thats the 1st thing I wrote (other than i miss you so much lol) to my husband is to send info on those sailors!

Hey! Jason's Wife...I see you are in Michigan (Westland)! I am in Farmington Hills! When did Jason go to MEPS? To GL? My son went on Sept 20th and left for bc on 9/21! He's going from bc to Nuke school. Yours?
