THANK you so much Momof5..omg..I am so excited for him..and feeling so good these days knowing bc is OVER in just 18 more days! It really was good hearing my son so upbeat. He is having FUN he said? Aaron said he is leaving for A school to SC at 2am after PIR. I wonder what time the flights really are for these guys? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Anyhow..PIR or bust..here we come!

We had a wonderful call from Matt. Everyone got a chance to talk for a little bit, it was so nice. He said he earned a medal for sharp-shooting with a hand gun! He sounded so much better than last week! We are all getting very excited!

Sara mentioned fire training, but was hoping for the gas chamber...she's alittle wierd. She really sounded good. Sara was afraid she wasn't going to call this weekend because she had been sick and was confined to racks and had been on LLD for the last 2 days. I am so excited about seeing my Girl. She did not qualify her firearms, she said they scared her and she could not stop shaking. She was excited about the Marlinspike--she was a section leader. Wow 2 weeks seems so long, but I know it will come fast.
I have a countdown on my computer, it started the day I got confirmaiton on Sara's PIR...See ya'll on the 18th for the Meet & Greet.

Hey everyone..got a LONG call from Aaron. He said they got long calls today. He said his Division has FOUR flags and they are all excited. He said they march beautifully..lol. Said they are all getting along and working well together and are ALL ready to get on to the next assignment after bc. I believe he said next week is fire training or something and he was excited. My BOY got a metal for being the only recruit from Div 001 and 002 to get a master marksman score and he is real excited. Said we will see the metal at PIR. He said the two divisions of guys are great. I soooooooooooooooooo can't wait for PIR now..woohoo!

That is awesome PinkysMom!!!!!!!!!!! How cute that she marked the spots! hahahah that sounds like something i would do!!!!! Yea my husband was pretty suprised with his 1st check as well! lol. I Believe if you guys leave out on the 15th then that will be early enough. I am coming from Michigan which is only a 5 hour drive so we will be headed out on the 18th.

It came...Sara has managed to work throught the tears & wrote me a 3 (COUNT THEM...1, 2, 3) pages. It took her a week to write them and she dated each section...& she marked each tear & snot mark lol. I love my daughter, and I miss her so much. LOL...she was absoluteley suprised with her first PC...she thought she was going to be paid "like $50 a month", lol

Me & Sara's older sisters are driving from TX. We are leaving on the 15th...do you think the 15th is early enough? I have never left TX; LA doesn't count.

Let the Lord's Light shine down on all of Us!

awww!! Well i remember on my last phone call, my husband said they were all most likely going to wake up the morning of the 1st cheering! lol Because I guess at that point they know its basically almost over. Lets just keep praying for them and each other and we will be at Nov 19th before we know it!!!! I cant wait to meet you guys!

My letter this week said how bummed he was that they weren't even half way through with boot camp. My letter started with..."Let me help you with the math, you have been gone 38 days and we will see you in 22 days". Now it's 21 days! I hope the visual will help him...there must not be a calendar hanging around for them to refer to.
