I got a 19 min call which would have been longer but his phone was messing up when he 1st called and had to switch to another one. He sounded great and is passing all of the test (which I knew he would). He talked to the kids and I am happy, the kids are happy and this is just what we needed to get us through this week. It is almost
over!

PIR is coming ladies...wooohooooooooo. So glad our boys are saying things are going well (boots broken in, knowing other boys, etc.). I get more and more excited every day!

momoft-That is an amazing birthday present!
PIR will be a great day for everyone. I can't wait. It seems like that's all I think about anymore. I got a letter from my son yesterday, it was great!! He said of all the people he's met he's the only one from Idaho, lol... That he had never realized what a wonderful thing chairs were until now, and that his boots are finally broke in..LOL..
Hope everyone has a great day today! I'm off to work:)

I received a letter today too. He said that he didn't know any of the people I asked about but went around asking first names to see if he could figure them out and sure enough...he found Loreta's son and Jasons Wife's husband. LOL, he thinks we're pretty funny but said it sounded cool how we could talk to each other to keep up on the info. (I think he means it takes the pressure off of him to remember to tell me everything!) I love that the tone of things has improved a lot.

Hey everyone! I got a letter today from my husband! The first thing he said was "That Navy For Moms group you made for my division must be a hit, just about everyone here is like your wife talks to my mom/girlfriend/ wife!" I think that is soooo awesome! He says they all know each other and they have all become amazingly close!! He named some last names but due to their safety and the rules of the navy, I wont list them here but yes they all know each other and have become best of friends!!! This is great!!!

That sounds like a crazy week! I hope they all do ok. I think I'll say a few extra prayers for them all! I don't really want to ask this as I seem to be the slow one in the group:) LOL, but what is PFA, SAMT and NEX?
