Welcome Charity. We are wearing red for our division for us to be able to recognize each other and also help the SR see us.  There is a post about the meet and greet on the 2/4/11 group. i did my hotel search on hotels.com and found one with a pool since we are bringing my 9yr old son. The meet and greet is at the Ramada Inn.

Ok so I've evidently joined a tad late. Would someone explain the red scarf thing. Is everyone from our div gonna wear red so our SR can find us easier??

We are glad you are here Charity. Glad you have a good report from your daughter. They are really into it now with a lot of training behind them. The group PIR 2/4/11 etc group is good to read as it has the other div on 060 same time frame.

I'm so glad to find this web site. My daughter is in this ship and div. She is doing very well. Passing all of her test and seems to be very up beat. We are counting down the days to graduation. Looking forward to chatting with all of you.

Supportive 1 - It depends on their RDCs if they get over night liberty, or not.

Thanks Coline and gitti.

I wonder if they have to have to return to the barricks each night or they are allowed to stay in the hotel with us.

My friends son graduated in Sept and his A school was there so they got to pick him up around 430 Friday after he moved his stuff to the other side of the base. Then he was allowed to spend the weekend with them. He had to be checked back in by 8 on Sunday so they dropped him off around 6 so he could check in then walk to where he needed to be.
