If I can find him adm60 I will take this picture and send it to you.  We aren't flying until Thursday evening, so I hope everything is cleaned up by then.  Was 40 below here this morning with wind chill.  I would much rather be in Hawaii with you!

Hello to all.
Well PIR is out for me but had a call and my SR passed and sounded strong. They were at the Nex and having some civilian food and phones and internet. I think it was Saturday and it was just great to hear from him. He was disappointed we can not make it there but cheered up when I said that the money I saved would be his to use for travel when real leave happens. He said he thought he would be there for about 5 days after PIR before going to Pensacola, probably. Said that he was quite sure all were going to get liberty after PIR and over the weekend. I told him that you all would be wearing red and that he should introduce himself. Please please maybe someone could take his picture. He will have no one there. He mentioned a friend who was married with a 9 month old. Well I am watching the weather and hoping you all will be safe. I am in Hawaii---when I tried to change my flight it was very very expensive so I decided to stay on here. It is very very lovely but my thoughts are in Chicago. I hope maybe you will be able to write after PIR. So excited for everyone. Be safe and well.

Supportive, talked again yesterday to my SR.  He got sick from the gas chamber and was sick all the way through battlestations.  Said he blacked out a couple times, and one of the Petty Office caught him before he hit the floor.  But yesterday he was feeling better.  He had been sent over to the doctor, and was give some antiboctics and other medicine.  It was still hard to understand him on the phone, because he was all stuffed up.  I guess I'll get the whole story at PIR.  Again the most important thing is he is getting to graduate!

My sailor didn't fail but she said a few did but will retake BS next week. I'm sure if he had failed he would have told you :)

Karenmjm,

I spoke to my fiance today for almost an hour- he didnt mention anything about failing anything. Although it was really hard tp hear him because he lost his voice during BS. Did your SR say the whole division failed? Maybe my Fiance was too embarrased?

Who knows. However I did find out he has been filling out over seas paperwork.

Talked to me about Japan and how its a high possibility.

So Not sure what to think at this point. we are just engaged haha.

any advice anyone?
