I also got a call about an hour ago. He said that he will only have to stay at RTC until the 9th then he will be going to Pensacola. I CANNOT wait for graduation. I was there a month ago, and it was amazing! For those wondering about BS21, I got a call from my youngest son about 7:00 the next night. They have to clean up and do things before they get "I am a sailor" call.

I got a call too! :). She called my cell and I missed it but then called me at work and got me there. I was so excited. She told me the same information about battlestaions and gas chambers. Also that I might get a call late next week. She sounded good and not down a bit which made me happy. She did say her A school had been changed from 12 weeks to 9 weeks then home for 2 weeks but I'm sure that might change also lol :)

I just had a call too....a long one...made my day!  She sounds great! Laughing and happy! She has also passed all her tests. I was told Battlestations on the 27th. Going to light my blue candle the whole next week for luck for our recruits. After that call my cold doesn't even matter anymore!  :o)

I just got a call from my SR.  He was so upbeat!  He has passed all his tests, and has even received some special recongition.  I wish I could brag some more, but I don't want him singled out.  He said they will be doing the gas chamber later this week, and yes battlestations is next week, Thursday-Friday!

my SR mentioned his school is in GL. Nothing more. However he has not wrote a letter in about 2 weeks. I'm assuming their just too busy.

My SR picked a specific job before she left and was also told California for A-school but as BC was told possible Florida now and home afterwards...but not getting my hopes up as things seems to change...hopefully there will be more info in the next set of mail...

My SR said that his A school will be in Pensacola Florida and will be there then get to come home for a bit. YAY

My SR A school is in Great Lakes. She was guaranteed that and her classification at MEPS after she tested. It starts the following Monday after PIR. Maybe certain jobs are guaranteed. My friends son who is in A school in GL is also a medic and knew he where his school was before he left. I was under the impression that they all were if they picked a specific job. Is that not right?
