Shauna - SO glad you got a letter, I did too !!!  (I alos posted a note on the PIR2/11 site.).   Sounded like he was doing ok, missed home and said it was lonely there, I hope he is making friends too!  He mentioned the guy that broke his foot in the shower, and talked about marching outside in the cold, and taking one whole day to learn to fold clothes!  He liked the Blue Cammies they got, and said he did well on the swim test, but was worried about the run, and that the RDCs dont yell that much unless they tick them off !   ( so hope they are learning what NOT to do, so they don't tick them off!)  Did your sailor mention Grad & Go, cause mine did, not sure if that is the whole Division,or just him...   Thanks for sharing your info!  and Merry Christmas!!!!

I can't believe it actually came......a letter from my SR and it was wonderful hearing from him.  Sounds like the division isn't getting along very well but he has made some friends and I think that helps  He didn't say why but I hope they get it worked out.  He even included a drawing of his Navy issed glasses he referred to them as his BCG's (birth control glasses) made me laugh.  They are pretty old fashion looking.  He said got his military id and he looks pretty funny without any hair.  I cried the whole time and now my other kids are calling him "laundry boy" because he said he knew I would be proud of him for learning to fold his laundry.....ha ha ha.  I sure do miss him and I will treasure the letters for ever!  He said it was just like Christmas morning when he received his first letter from home.  He did say send lots of letters and pictures even if they didn't say anything they made him feel closer to home.

Williby: thank you thank you for that news! Hope they get to call on Christmas! If he meets a tall skinny kid from Colorado, that's my boy!
