Just got a letter! My SR got MM. He is bummed because it's not what he wanted, but he'll be OK. I have no idea what any of the jobs entail, but I do know that MM's have a shorter A-school than EM and ET!

Thanks so much, Mari.

No air conditioning in my classroom all this week- fan broken- waiting for part. I live in Texas, so it's a BIG deal. My patience is at its end....

I needed that to get me back o track

Teach-I read somewhere that they don't do the Graduation packets anymore. Also, I don't think our whole division made phone calls. My SR wasn't able to get in touch with anyone the first time they made calls (about 2 weeks ago) so they gave those who didn't get in touch a second chance. He didn't get anyone this time around either so I'm hoping and praying they'll give him a third chance soon!

Freebird-I haven't heard anything about job placement yet. Hoping for it in my next letter (or phonecall!)

This doesn't apply to corpsman- so my answer is no, Freebird.

However, I am just realizes my dot said something about a graduation packet- hoping we got it- and at the time I thought she meant the 'letter' we got during the first weeks. Now, I just read something about families supposed to be receiving an invite to grad, etc 4 weeks before PIR. Did any of you get that??
