Oh my goshh I miss my SR sooo much... I wish the days would go by just a little faster! In the mean time I bought my dress to wear to graduation yesterday :) and when I was just about to leave the store something caught my eye...I HAD to go look!! So I walk over to the counter and there in the display is the prettiest anchor neckless I have ever seen... so I had to get it! I'm showing some love for our navy boys lol I hope my SR will love it... I'm sure he will since he bought it hahaha!

Haha i think she probably meant IT. My SR is too funny...he sent me my own "cheat sheet" with a bunch of Navy lingo on it (even though i know half of it from here already!!). No mention of TI. He did say they're really coming together as a group too! Yay for our division! There's a huggee sidewalk sale all weekend in my little beach town so I'm in search of something GREEN!

I just think we need to keep our conversations going here, Ladies. I got two letters today! She sent me back a questionaire and comments on the 'comments' I sent her from the funny lines from home discussion. It was pretty funny. She said that the first few days she walked in on the boys' barracks three times by mistake. What a dweeb. (wink)

Also- she mentioned TI? Is she just being dyslexic and meaning IT (intensive training)? She said whatever it is seems to be bonding their division.

The jobs we're talking about are Nuke jobs. EM=electrician mate. MM-Mechanic Mate and ET=electrician tech...don't quote me on that though. My guess is there are only a certain amount of spots in each class for each job, so the SRs get to rank them and then the Navy tries to place them in that job's class...if there isn't enough room they'll give their second choice, and so on. That's just my GUESS though---wouldn't be the first time I was wrong about something!

You guys are talking in code...

I don't understand (wink) What are the jobs you're referring to? Are they just NUKE jobs and if so, why do they do that in BC? just curious

Mj: I got a letter and they haven't been getting our mail for 2 days :( (my letter was dated on 15) that upsets me... he said they are doing "hell week".

Hlyturner- My SR said he wants either EM or MM. On 5/12 they got to give their preference, then they found out what they got this Monday. So maybe we'll hear in our next set of letters!!

Mj: awww that's awesome how sweet of everyone :) hahaha it funny how they did it seceretly. I wish I could be there to have seen that! And I'm sooooo excited about them being able to send more mail... I'm ready to hear from my SR more often!! My SR said he wanted to try to do ET (I think) ohh I hope he gets it :) but hmmm now that I think about it I got a letter from him that was dated the 12th and he didn't say :( wonder whyy?

Anyways... ladies the RTC facebook site is have a trivia game every Tuesday at 10 am and the first person to answer it right will get a picture of the division! So I figured if enough of us went on there and tried to answer it we many get to see a pic of 11/200 ;) just thought I would let y'all know!

Sorry its sooo long lol!

I thought you'd all love to hear that our SRs can now send mail on Tuesdays, Thursdays, AND Sundays! I am ecstatic and got a stack of letters yesterday! AND Division 200 earned their first flag for getting an average of 4.0 (out of 5) on their first exam. On the 12th they got classified, aka got their specific jobs (for Nuke's it's EM, MM, ET) so we should hear soon about that! And how sweet is this...my SRs birthday was last Thursday and the Division made him a card signed by all of them and everyone throughout the day secretly wished him a happy birthday (secretly so the RDCs didn't find out and give them IT).

Makes me so happy that they're getting along so well! They sound like a wonderful group! Just thought you'd all like to hear those things!
