Freebird- thanks for your work on checking things out on shirts! I'm sorry I didn't reply to your question sooner. I've been still floating on receiving a letter! I vote for tshirt. I think it will be too warm for a sweatshirt, too cool for a tank top. Any other opinions? I could be way off. Maybe it will be chilly enough that we'll want the jacket type sweatshirt.

BTW- I haven't RSVPed for meet and greet because I don't know yet when we'll get there. We may be arriving too late. One of my other kids will be taking summer classes and she'll need to go to class first. Also, SRs boyfriend is in a new job and would like to be able to work that day. Right now- up in the air. Maybe some of us can go earlier than others, but quite a drive to do that. IDK

J- I am so happy to hear from the mom of another girl! I was beginning to think mine was the only one there. (wink)

Dot said she passed all the tests so far (which I guess I knew because I hadn't heard she didn't right? The whole no news is good news thing.. Anyway- she commented that 20%-25% didn't. Too bad. I hope their division is getting together as a team. I know that's really important and that's what the RDCs want to see happen. We should all push that concept in our letters.

Also, she commented that they lucked out with their RDCs. She said they are a lot more respectful than some. I'm so glad!

I got more letters today! My SR roofed up and got reemed out but he thinks its funny now. Said he was on watch and missed the confidence course/pt one day and a lot of people came back crying/throwing up. Made me feel so bad for them! But he said they're getting used to PT and working together. Sounds so upbeat!

Hello everyone again. I messed with my e-mail where i didn't want all the e-mails from everyone but to stay in-touch with our group and messed up. So I'm back.  I finally got a letter from my sailor yesterday(a real letter) and she seems fine.  Said she passed the first PT test and the swimming which is what i was worried about because bless her heart she is not the best swimmer. She said they have she has a pretty calm (in army terms) drill sergeant.  Glad to back and let me hear from everyone.....
