Well ladies our SR are almost fininshed.  I got letters from my SR and she said that they are a good group and that BC is a little more laid back now.  They still Yell at them but only when they make a major mistake as a group. She said they are a pretty tight group.  Can't Wait.

Freebird, I'm sorry you didn't get a letter :-( He isn't mad at you and he's a big boy who made his own decision to join the Navy! Guidance and support from you does not mean you forced him. He'll thank you someday. Keep that head up! Were so close!

Oh, and MJ, it's cute that he was sorry for the messages that he left while you were so upset that you missed the calls! Well, in hindsight it's cute. You know what I mean. I'm so happy his letters were more upbeat...my SR's were as well. :)

freebird,  Did you physically drag him to the MEPS station or the recruiter or the airport? Probably not, which means you didn't force him! :) You gave him some motherly love, and he will appreciate that. He loves you. Things ARE getting better for them, so rest easy. You will get to give him a great big ol' hug in two weeks! I hope you get a letter soon! We are all here for you. Although I'm not a mother, I can only imagine what you're going through. He's an adult and made a great decision to join the world's best Navy. :) Hooyah!

Happy letter day ladies! My letters today were very upbeat! My SR profusely apologized for leaving me a sad message when I missed his calls. Asked me to forgive him...while I was over here hoping he would forgive me for missing the calls! They got to do weapons training finally with real ammo. Got a sharpshooter ribbon! YAY! He sounds really excited for battle stations and to finally be done. The best news is he said the RDC's are really easing up on them so they should ALL be in better moods by now. That means your son too Freebird :)

I saw it too, and wondered if one was my dot. My other daughter didn't think it was, but....

They sure look a fright, don't they? Not a one in the same directions as another- or just a few anyway.   (tee hee)
