I feel so bad talking about my conversation with my daughter when we still have Lonnie hanging OVER the ledge... My heart goes out to you.. truly it does knowing what I know. aka, sleeping for 16 hours after the call. But, my daugther says that they have had lots come back into 365 of (whatever initial it is) which is the recruits that get pulled for whatever reason.. there are so many! She said they just got one in yesterday. A guy who just passed his tests. Umm and ours finished BS. so see, there will be light at the end of the tunnel.

Holly: I was cracking up with the "sure dear, I will drive and break the law so you can talk to your g/f, sure, anytime"..LOL.. the things we do for our loved ones...

Um as for promotions.. my daughter? suuureeeee. NOT..LOL.. She called her dad, had to say hi to each of his co-workers, talked for a while, made him tear up and than called me back! 365 sailors were able to go online, talk on the phone, EAT, shop for graduation supplies. Mine elected to just eat candy while spending her hour and half on the phone with me and hubby. She said she has had enough drama @ Boot Camp so she sure isn't ready for her FB friends drama..LOL.. I was soo proud to hear that FB is no longer a priority to her.. LOL

But I tell you, too bad many of the other mom's and wives didn't find this group because I learned sooooo much about the div on this very relaxed call. And have to say, 365 sure is a lively bunch. She said that every one of them has some sort of story and because of that has attitude. Which is why they were such a good team once they realized not one of them was going to be the leader..LOL. She said that they got all their flags but one, which none of the recruits of 365 were surprised about.. academics. LOL.. not sure about the other mom's but yep, no disagreeing here. She said many other things about how many of the other divisions step out of their way. All and all she said that once the dust settles she will be looking for her division mates because they gave her some great laughs, fun stories and some great insight.

So at the end of this long winded post let me say to the mom's that ARE on here. Thank you.. for raising your child well-rounded and even a little edgy.... you know who you are.. it's great to hear that they added something special to my daughters life. (group Hug)

Oh and Captains cup, they came in second from the last.. LOL.. She said Chief wasn't "too" mad.

If that letter ends up being right in front of my face (so to speak) I am going to SCREAM! I will be happy...but I am going to scream!..lol.

Sorry for my insensitivity due to my recent insanity.

Lonnie'smom- hang in there! Talk about down to the wire! He will pass battlestations and graduate!! No worries! I thank God that he is feeling better.

Holly- LOL....my daughter said that they were so tired that they were marching after battlestations and everyone was dozing off and falling out of formation (she actually said..."running off the side of the rode"..lol) because they were so tired. It's good to hear them rested and "non-stressed".

Ok ladies.....I have officially lost my mind!!! I just turned my home upside down looking for that darn letter with the code on it for the parking passes....you know the one that I put in a "safe place" and now cannot find!! Ughhhh!

Does anyone know how I can get another within the next 24 hours...I'm flying out early Wednesday morning.

I am praying that everyone's family gets in to see graduation.

Okay ladies, this nightmare coaster may never end! lol So, my son just called, yeah imagine my heart actually stopping cause he was supposed to be in BS, and I guess he wasn't able to take his last PFAS because of him being sick, so he will take it in the morning and then will be doing BS tomorrow night! He did sound better though but talk about waiting to the last minute for my "I'm a Sailor" call! Ugh I think I'm getting an ulcer! LOL

Congratulations on all the calls and the promotions, 365 rocks!!
@ Lady - Thank you:) She is bound and determined even if she had to stand outside the gates and wait for him! LOL

We're bringing extra's too. He told me that since there are only half as many divisions as normal, they will let everyone in. Makes sense, one of the last PIR's had 13 and we only have 7. He said it won't last as long either. He called and talked to his brother for 45 min before I got home, told him he'd call me later, the gf just told me he had to go, time was up! Hmmm....

I got a call too!! I missed the first call but then she called back!! I also conferenced my parents in on the call (I surprised myself with that one!! But she told me how to do it...the little "tech baby"...lol). Dee, her mouth was full of candy too and beef jerky...LOL! She said that she didn't know who won Captain's Cup. She said they won the relay race though.

Lonnie'smom- here's a little hope....only two from my family is going to graduation, so there are two seats available that you know about...I am hoping and praying that your Mom gets one of the two seats! Waiting with you for THE CALL :-)

oops I forgot to add that he told them he got a promotion. Only 6 in the unit were given a promotion. He said that 2 girls did better than him, but he was very happy.
