For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Dee- LOL! It was quite a sight being tired and trying to take pics with a new camara. Sad part is they kept asking me questions about my camara....lol....and I didn't know LMBO! Probably won't sleep until after graduation...too much to do :-(

Holly: I still admire you so much for going through this twice. You talk about how differnt they are, I have 3 and they are SOO differnt, so did you not think your youngest was going to walk in his footsteps?
Kelly: Morning dear! Meet & greet is @ Ramada 6-8pm. they have a table w/blank name tags which you and your guest should write their name on the top and if you aren't going by your name on here, which you are, it should be in quotations or underlined so as people can tell you by your forum name. Ribbons are being worn, along with any shirts ladeis ordered or made. My hubby and boys are coming with me but probably won't stay cause eventhough I tell all of them stuff we talk about here, they may loose interest if it turns out to be mostly the ladies. So yes, bring more but you do have to RSVP to Diana 952 with how many. As for 365 breaking away, not sure what everyone decided.

Okay, so I thought about it a bit and do see why all of you ladies are still more stressed than I would be. Location. So I do aplogize that I didn't put that into perspective.. All of you have to do the whole plane ride packing, airport security, etc. But Lady.. make sure you sleep on the plane.. LOL

Lonnie.. your not cracking up.. this is your child going through something that you have no control over. But, your body is indeed drained because of the emotional trip this letting go of your son has caused and it's probably reaching it's boiling level. I never realized how stressed I was by this whole ordeal until Saturday morning when I slept..and slept.. and slept. So be kind on yourself tomorrow and treat yourself to a Starbucks or whatever treat you enjoy.
And no Lady you can't get any treats.. cause you have had time to sleep and regroup and chill. But noooo, instead your playing in Art Galleries.. LOL. I have this visual of you banging on the lense.. "Why won't this work?? Do you know where I'm going on Friday?!!" :O)
Think we all will look like tourists with cameras and ribbons adorning our new outfits..

Dee- I got a new camara too! (well borrowed from my brother..lol). Tried to take practice pictures at my stepmother's gallery opening last night....lol..picture this...me + new camara trying to take pictures around professional photographers= hilarious :-)
I called myself trying to pack this weekend but I am kind of stalled......just emotionally and physically drained.

Hi ladies, just checking in! I'm still holding on, barely:) lol Think I might be cracking up though, I had this dream the night he called that the Navy sent him home on a leave because of him being sick. At 418am, I jumped out of bed to go check on him only to get to the hallway and realize he wasnt there, that I had been dreaming! But, other than that I'm okay, just so excited there are only 4 days till we get to see them! YEAH!! Thank you ladies for leaving the candles on cause Tuesday I will be getting the call:)

I have plenty of sweaters I haven't worn for 3 years since we moved down here...so they are "like new".
My hubby is in Dallas now, then heads to Providence on Tuesday....He didn't want to go either but it would have been a poor career move for him to have said no....

He went to Atlanta.. and although he didn't want to go I'm doing hte pushing so I have airline mileage to go to Jacksonville!!!!!!!!!
